Ordering Your New Vintage Amplifier
Due to the vast cosmetic options that we offer for our products, you can purchase your new amplifier, cabinet, or combo direct from us. We occasionally have prebuilt items at select dealers, which will be listed here on our website. Stocking dealers can also accept custom orders. We build each piece to order, so you have the ability to select your tolex, grill cloth, and hardware colors – to truly make this amplifier yours. We require a 50% down payment to begin your build, with the remainder of the balance due upon completion of the products, prior to shipping. The down payment is used to purchase cut-to-length cosmetic materials (tolex and grill cloth), custom transformers, speakers, engineering/design costs (if the build being discussed is non-standard) and admin costs for the build. **Due to the custom nature of our products, your down payment is an agreement to complete the purchase and is non-refundable.** If you have any questions regarding our ordering process, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Building the best amplifiers and cabinets we can takes time, so please be patient throughout the build cycle. Believe it when we say that no one wants you to have your New Vintage amplifier or cabinet more than we do! Please contact us for our current production lead time. We try to be as flexible possible though to try to work around touring schedules, gigs, recording, etc…
Paying for Your New Vintage Amplifier
We offer a wide variety of payment options to make the purchasing process easier for you. We gladly accept cash, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, cashier’s check, bank transfer, wire transfer (fees may apply), Square Cash, PayPal, and Venmo. If paying with a personal check, please be aware that we will not ship any product until the funds have cleared. We do also charge a $50 fee in the event that a check does not clear due to insufficient funds. Unfortunately, we’re not able to accept trade-ins towards your purchase at this time.
If you would like to make incremental payments towards one of our products, we will allow you to do so, interest-free, for a period of 12 months. Once you have paid in full, we will insert you into the build queue and begin your piece as soon as we can. We will not ship an order until we have received payments totaling the full purchase price. All orders are then subject to our current lead times. If, for any reason, the total balance is not paid in full within the 12-month window provided from the date of down payment, we will retain 50% of the payments received (beyond the non-refundable down payment) to offset the costs of your build. In short, to get your product you have to pay for it.
We prefer to ship via FedEx, but will ship with UPS upon request. All speaker cabinets larger than our NV 2×12 guitar cabinets ship via truck freight. Shipping costs are calculated at the completion of the product(s), but we’re happy to give you a rough estimate if needed.
We currently do not have any international distribution or dealers outside of the USA. We handle international orders and shipping on a case-by-case basis as rates, taxes, and possible fees change with each order. Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding international orders and shipping. Please note that large items (such as bass cabinets) can be VERY costly to ship overseas.
